Iridescent Golden Onion Bottle Petal Lip

Extraordinary unique golden iridescent early onion bottle recently dug up in Sudbury Suffolk. Layers of colour and texture to the surface. Rarely does the patina speak to you but this one does and has the added bonus of a super rare scalloped petal string rim. It has been tooled by the glass blower when made with smooth edges and no doubt done to hold the cork in place for wire or string. Only one other 17th century bottle is known to exist like this.
