American Political Brampton Stoneware Shaving Mug

Rarely seen highly glazed Brampton salt glaze stoneware shaving mug with a two part compartment on the top. The open part would have taken liquid and cut throat razors and the basin was to mix your soap. Personalised sprigging of three famous American gentlemen, one looking like George Washington, Ben Franklin and tricorn hat man? Inscribed B & CB with Forget me Not GE inside the wreath sprig. Typical shrinkage cracks on some of the sprigging but no actual damage. Unmarked. Height 4.5 inches, width 5.5 inches. English C1840
