Antique Pearlware Jug William Pemberton Oxon Oxford.

Great large sized pearlware jug with exotic coat of arms and date. Made for William Pemberton in 1796 from Oxon (Oxford). I have attempted to find out who Mr Pemberton is but was unable to trace him so further research would be needed. The jug measures 8 inches tall by 8 inches wide.  Tiny nibble on lip repaired otherwise no other issues. English C1796
