Saltglaze Stoneware Jug German C1700

A fine example of a plain German stoneware jug with string rim. The form is simply potted but has a nice splashed glaze with grey body showing mostly at the base area. A blow hole exists on the body but no cracks or damage emanate from this. Lovely wonky handle has been drunkenly applied! No cracks or repairs, just a few minor nibbles on the foot.
