Antique Glass Pestle & Mortar

An unusual small mortar and pestle in glass. May have been incorporated into a large medicine chest.The pestle is impregnated with mica chips adding to its decorative look and not something I have seen before. Ground pontil to base. Length 3.5 inches, height 2.8 inches.English or German, C1880/1900
