Antique Wedgewood Creamware Pottery Barbers Shaving Bowl
A fine example of a creamware barbers bowl with soap well. Marked WEDGEWOOD to base. This faux mark was used by William Smith of Stockton on Tees in Yorkshire to imitate Josiah Wedgwood. In the late 1840,s this company was taken to court and ordered to never use Wedgwoods name on there pottery again so as dating this bowl to the 1830/40 period. Perfect Condition.
