Antique Glass Sealed Onion Bottle Armorial Suffolk?
Fabulous patinated early onion bottle with crested armorial seal. This bottle was found floating down the River Gipping near Baylham Hall in Suffolk and eventually ended up in a Sothebys auction back in 1995. The patina left by the river deposits is truly wonderful and adds to the bottles eye appeal. Height 6.3 inches, width 6 inches. One small back side chip only, no cracks or star cracks. English Late 17th century. **Please see the Country House section also for sealed bottles of note**
