Early English Glass Onion Bottle C1685/1695

A wonderful patinated early English onion bottle with rarely found full string rim. The bottle has a rainbow bloom on one side adding to its attractiveness. A short stubby neck and general shape point to the first period of “onion form” bottles. Height 5.85 inches, width 5.5 inches. Minute top rim nibble from decorking which is patinated otherwise no star cracks or other damage. English C1685/95.  **A dated sealed example in the same form is shown for reference**
