Rare Handled Saltglaze Stoneware Ink Pot

A plain and simple salt glaze pot with a handle. Attractive glaze with rolled lip and thumbprint handle at the base.  A ghost hairline exists in the body from shoulder to base although only visible on very close inspection. I have had many of these early English utilities over the years but never one with a handle. Height 5 inches, width 3 inches. English C1780/1820
