Antique English Mallet Wine Bottle C1735

Gorgeous unusual squat mallet form wine bottle in a rich dark red brown colour. The glass is finely whittled with a fully intact string rim. The neck and body are rather “drunken” when held at a particular angle adding to its appearance. The glass is clear and see through with a good kick up. A couple of tiny nibbles on top rim otherwise in good condition. Height 8 inches. English C1735/40
