William Leman Chard 1771 Sealed Wine Bottle Somerset

A good example of an anti dated sealed wine bottle likely commemorating the forming of the company. The bottle is  fully marked Ricketts Glassworks Bristol on the base and dating it to after 1821. William Leman was a prominent merchant in the Somerset town of Chard. Height 11.25 inches, width 3.5 inches.  Good condition.
