Unusual Toleware Spice Tower Townson & Mercer

A very unusual japanned tin spice tower with four compartments. Each one opens to reveal a sieve base except the bottom compartment. Original brass badge for Townson & Mercer London. Height 7 inches, width 3.5 inches. Light scratches but no damage. First one I have seen! Late 19th century.
