Guinness Stout Great Auk Advertising Pub Jug

A rare water jug advertising Great Auk Guinness Stout. This trade mark was created by William Adolphus Ross in around 1893 who was a drinks agent with companies in several large cities of the world. Pinprick nibble on outer lip and slightly larger chip on back rim restored. No cracks. Jug made in the UK but no pottery mark. Never seen another! C1900
