Mc Nish Special Whisky Pub Jug Glasgow

A wonderful fancy pottery pub jug marketed by Mc Nish,s of Glasgow. Known as the “doctors”medicinal whisky it is a truly unique advertising slogan only found from this company. The jug also comes in white but this one is pale blue with brown writing. One tiny chip existed on the finger tip grip which has been restored, no other issues. Marked Dunn Bennett to base. Height 8 inches, width 8 inches. Years ago this was thought as one of the most desirable jugs made until a few more hit the market with Ebay, still its a jug every collection should have! C1880,1900
