Mortlake London Saltglaze Stoneware Tavern Jug
A very fine example of a Mortlake stoneware ale jug with original silver rim. The central slab is called Boors Drinking. Profusely sprigged with hunting and classical scenes. One tiny sliver chip of base and one nibble to a single sprig only. Height 10 inches. C1790/1810
