German Black Forest Storage Bottle Basket Weave

An interesting storage bottle with basket weave wicker cover. This style of bottle was used for a multitude of different liquids. Height 14 inches, width 10 inches. Pontil mark to base. The basket is coming apart slightly at the base but no damage to the bottle. German, C1840.
