Great looking pottery snuff jar in a vivid cobalt blue glaze. Yellow overlay print advertising Kirk,late Proctor Snuff Manufacturers to her majesty and Royal Family. Height 6 inches, width 4.5 inches. Original lid. The inside rim of the jar has had some good wear with minor dings and the lid rim. Also the lid had a small inner chip repaired and one also on the base of the jar. A good early Victorian jar with minor issues that do not affect its overall look. English. C1850/60.
