Chadwick Family Crest Glass Wine Bottle Mavesyn Ridware 1791
This bottle must qualify as the largest sealed blob of glass on a bottle! The seal is huge at 3 inches long by 2 inches wide. The owner was Charles Chadwick of Mavesyn Ridware, a fine country house near Litchfield Staffs and were made to celebrate him receiving the ancient order of Malveysin. Height 10.5 inches, width 4.5 inches. A minute nick exists on the top part of the seal, a tiny nibble on the underside of the string rim and a small star crack to the left o the seal.
