Sealed Black Glass Rum Bottle 1809 Estcourt Gloucestershire

Dated cylinder sealed with a coronet and eagle rising. The date reads 1809. An old label attributes this seal to the family crest of Estcourt House, Shipton Moyne, near Tetbury. The bottle can be attributed to Thomas Estcourt. Height 10.5 inches, width 3.5 inches. Sag pontil base. Generally in good condition with just some minor roughness around the inner aperture of the bottles opening. C1809
