German Saltglaze Stoneware Jug

A really nice example of a smaller sized jug with finely applied handle. Height 5 inches, width of belly 3.25 inches. Usual small nibbles to foot only. This is not the more common smallest size but a slightly bigger version with really nice salt glaze colour. German, late 17th century.
