Beilby Glassworks Antique Port Bottle Portugal

Half size squat body sealed bottle that reads Joao Antonio Pereira E,souza. This bottle was ordered from the Beilby Glassworks for export to Portugal. Height 8 inches, width 3.5 inches.  Deep circular pontil mark. Only two examples are recorded. This bottle has a lovely large struck seal with full body gloss. One pinprick ding on lip otherwise mint condition. Late 18th/early 19th century. **The Beilby glassworks order book for 15 August 1795 mention this bottle**
