Rare Painted Bottle Wool Spinner Pontil

Here we have a most unusual painted bottle with enamel decoration. The subject is a wool spinner finely enamelled showing her spinning wheel and bales of wool. The glass is jet black with only a tint of purple. Pontil marked base.Never seen another. Height 7.5 inches. European C1850.
