Antique Glass Sealed Onion Bottle Armorial Suffolk?
Fabulous patinated early onion bottle with crested armorial seal. This bottle was found floating down the River Gipping near Baylham Mill & Hall in Suffolk and eventually ended up in a Sothebys auction back in 1995. The patina left by the river deposits is truly wonderful and adds to the bottles eye appeal. Height 6.3 inches, width 6 inches. One small back side chip only, no cracks or star cracks. English Late 17th century. **Please see the Country House section also for sealed bottles of note** Found on pages 1355/56.of Antique Sealed Bottles by David Burton
